We have a shared Windows Server trying to run ASG with SQL Server on the same server setup with Integrated Windows login. We have licensing for the correct number of admins. I setup and added all of the RD connections in ASG. When my other users login to ASG they already have the database environment showing up but when they try to 'Test Connection' they get the error message of "Connection check failed - The database 'ASGRD' does not exist. Validate the database name". I know this database exists and I know it's not the firewall since everything is on the same server. I verified the other users are entering the same information I'm entering but they get the error message when trying to test the connection to the database. The ASG RD software and the db are all on this Windows Server server which we all login to with individual credentials for accessing our assets. I did use Mixed Mode authentication as well when setting up the database.
Is there guidance on setting up multiple users in the ASG RD software to access the database I created when installing?

Wir haben den Inhalt der Lizenzdatei in einer PDF von unserem Distributor erhalten und manuell eine XML-Datei erstellt. Könnte hier evtl. ein Formatierungsfehler vorliegen?
I accidentally right clicked open all at the top of one of our root folders with MANY web and RDP connections.
After a bit ASG crashed and when I went to re-open ASG it tried to re-open all the windows again since I have the box checked to re-open active windows.
I have tried to re-open many times with no luck.
I am running the current version in DB mode.
What are my options?

We have an issue with our ASG Remote Desktop application.
This morning we received and message from ASG that the database was offline, while it was still attached in SQL. We successfully reconnect the ASG application to the database. But after that moment we where unable to manage the properties of de devices anymore.
The strange thing is, that it not looks like happening for every object.
2 weeks ago, we had the same issue and we restored the database to an earlier moment. But now, it is the second time and hopefully you can help me with fixing it permanently.
We are using the latest version: ASG-RemoteDesktop 2020 13.0.6667.1, x64

Bitte um einen Tip, unter ASG 2019 funktioniert KeePass. Habe nun die aktuelle ASG 2020 Patch 1 installiert und bekomme KP nicht zum Laufen.
Es sind alle Einträge ident ASG 2019 gesetzt, allerdings, ist es bei ASG 2020 nicht möglich, das Master Passwort zu setzen.
Bei den Anmeldeeinstellungen -KeePass Settings ist Master Kennwort angehakt, aber im Feld rechts steht nur mit rotem durchgestrichenem Symbol "KEINE"
Via Dropdown kann ich zwar die KP Ordner/Obejekte durchsuchen, aber kein Kennwort eingeben.
Unter ASG 2019 ist es im selben Menüpunkt möglich, das Master Kennwort einzugeben. Im 20er gibt es kein Eingabefeld- siehe Bilder
(auch nicht unter MultiEdit)
Auch nicht, wenn ich unter den Anmeldeeinstellungen einen neuen Ordner anlege, dann auf KeePass runtergehe, ist Masterkennwort nur ein DropDown Feld und kein Eingabefeld mehr

I cannot find a EULA or licensing rules for a Per user license anywhere, and our reseller did not provide one. My question is, how many PC's can an Admin with a user license install and use RD on?

wir haben folgendes Problem auf den Windows 10 Clients 1809 (mstsc.exe Version 10.0.17763.404),welches
nach dem Beenden und dann öffnen passiert sofern Verbindungen offen sind und wiederhergestellt werden.
ASGRD2020P1 ist die eingesetzte Version. Es passiert bei der portablen sowie bei der installierten Version.
Ablauf
- Start von ASG (es existieren noch geöffnete Verbindungen vom Vortag)
- für eine bestehende Verbindung(en) werden die Anmeldedaten abgefragt
- für alle anderen bestehenden Verbindungen erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:

- versuche ich dann, eine neue Verbindung zu öffnen oder auf die bestehende Verbindung zu wechseln, stürzt ASG komplett ab.

We have purchased our licenses through a reseller, and the only thing we have ever received is the license file, no links, no email addresses, NOTHING! Can anyone guide me to older downloads, we have a couple of users that are licensed for 6.2 that need their PC's replaced, and need RD installed on their new HW.

We have a home made software which read directly in VRD2012's database, "description" & "servername" in vRDConnections table. Because we upgraded on last version (ASGRD 2020) database structure changed. It seems that we can read "Description" in Items table but server name seems to be in "Data" from ItemProperties table which is crypted, right ?

I have inherited an old installation of ASG Remote Desktop v 2016 and now being tasked with upgrade to 2020. I have renewed the licensing but I'm not finding much documentation on the upgrade path or procedures. Is it better to just start over? Do we clone the Database to a new SQL server and perform an upgrade? Does it automatically copy all the information from the old database to the new one as part of the upgrade? Thanks in advance to anyone that can point me in the right direction. I'm new to this application.
We have the centralized managed environments.xml (%ProgramData%\ASG-RemoteDesktop\13.0) on our Terminal Server Session Host. The Environment.xml contains multiple Database entries for different IT Teams. Every ASG database has its own permissions for the particular team (ASG security groups). The environments.xml has more than 15 entries and every entry has its own database. When pass trough authentication is disable in ASG and I try to connect to a database where I have no permission, I get a message “connection could not be established” and I have to select another entry from the “loin to…” screen. When I have pass through authentication enabled and I have connection established to my database. Then I start the environment manager to select another DB entry where I have no permission, ASG close and start again and tries to logon to the database where I have no permission. I get same message “connection could not be established” but the different is that I am in a pass through authentication loop. A workaround is to edit the users profile.xml set <PassThroughLogin>true</PassThroughLogin> to false or change the <CurrentEnvironment>DB No permission</CurrentEnvironment> to the old value. Is it possible for a future update to get the user the opportunity in the GUI to disable pass through authentication that the user can select another entry, where the user has permission to? Normally the ASG user does not know where the XML is and the user is able edit the XML itself, even if he or she has a little bit XML syntax knowledge :-). Best regards, Daniel
