Pass-Through authentication in Domain enviroment?

Does Pass-through authentication work in domains?
And/or does Pass-through authentication work for admins?

(We have the enviroment set up with a central SQL-server)

I marked the checkbox under settings/User Profile/general but it still asks for my credentials.
I have closed/started ASGRD after changing the setting but that did not help.
